ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion Alum Austin King uses his English degree to help students succeed. King, a graduate of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion, is making a difference in the lives of students as a college and career readiness coach at Marion City Schools.
Natalie Abbott Walston, a former ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion student, has had a successful career in writing and education. She attended ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion from 1992 to 1994 and credits the English department for giving her a solid foundation in writing that has served her well in her various careers.
Carlee Beaty attended ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion from fall 2006 to spring 2010, where she completed her undergraduate degree in English. She spent all four years at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion, taking advantage of the excellent English program offered by the campus. Today, she is an English teacher at Metro Early College High School, an accelerated STEM school on ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ's Columbus campus.
