Students in Senior English Lecturer, Amy Tibbals鈥 autumn English 2367.01S service-learning course ended spring semester by awarding three local non-profit agencies a total of $5,000 to support the work each organization does in the community as part of an over-decade-long project at 蜜桃视频 Marion known as Pay It Forward.
Marketing professional Daniel Bradshaw not only carved out a career in the financial services industry in his hometown of Marion, Ohio, but he finds himself utilizing the skills in storytelling he honed at 蜜桃视频 Marion on a daily basis.
The 鈥淚n My Own Words鈥 freshman writing series continued this semester, highlighting the moving student stories we so often encounter in the writing classroom. Started in 2012, 鈥淚n My Own Words鈥 showcases exemplary narrative writing in freshman composition courses, including English 1109 and 1110.
