Nathan Baker grew up in a rural farming community and was initially unsure about attending college. However, his curiosity about psychology led him to explore higher education. Just five years after graduating from ������Ƶ, he is now an assistant professor of psychology at Wright State University.

������Ƶ Marion Associate Professor of Physics, Chris Orban and Associate Professor of Mathematics, Scott Zimmerman recently won an ������Ƶ Energy Partners (OSEP) Academic Collaboration Award of $20,000 for their project titled “The STEMcoding Data Science High School Curriculum Initiative”. This funding expands the work of the STEMcoding project, ������Ƶ's flagship effort to integrate computer science and data science concepts into high school math and science classes.

������Ƶ at Marion, Harding Presidential Sites, and Ohio History Connection have partnered to bring history to life through the eyes of presidential scholars and experts as the 2025 Warren G. Harding Presidential explores Politics at the Doorstep: Presidential Front Porch Campaigns, July 18-19, 2025.

With approximately 61% of Americans taking at least one prescription medication and 27% taking 4 or more prescriptions in 2025, ������Ƶ at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap will take an in depth look at the history and development of drugs. ������Ƶ Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Ryan Yoder will present a free community lecture entitled “The Evolution of Drug Design: From Remedies to Rationality,” Tuesday, July 8, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.

MARION, Ohio (WSYX) — Tucked away at the Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory on the ������Ƶ University Marion campus are two beehives that are making a big impact. Marine veterans Eric Bailey and Todd Lee introduced the hives to the prairie to educate others and connect with fellow veterans in the community.
