A Warren G. Harding Symposium Award of a $1000 scholarship will be presented to an ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion student who submits an original essay of 1000 words or less based upon the theme of the annual Warren G. Harding Symposium. The winner will be selected by a committee composed of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion staff and Harding Symposium event leaders, based on following criteria: theme topic adherence, creativity, insights, perspectives, and composition.

Job seekers and employers alike are invited to connect at the annual Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Alber Student Center. This premier hiring event brings together dozens of companies actively looking for employees and interns. The event is free and open to the public.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion Associate Professor of History, Margaret Sumner and her colleagues at the Marion Women’s Club & Home recently earned the distinction of a 2025 Programs of Excellence in Engaged Scholarship from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Office of Outreach and Engagement in Academic Affairs for their collaborative efforts.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion’s Five Nights on Campus performing arts series welcomes Andrea Doria survivor Julia Hansen in this Five Nights on Campus Extra, Andrea Doria:  A Famous Sea Disaster and Survivor's Story, Wed., March 26, 6 p.m., in Maynard Hall’s Guthery Community Room. This event is free and open to the campus community and the public.

A group of 18 students from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion’s Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) joined fellow ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ regional campus students as part of a trip to the nation’s capital over spring break March 11-16.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion, the Harding Presidential Sites, and Ohio History Connection have once again partnered to present the 2025 Warren G. Harding Symposium, Politics at the Doorstep: Presidential Front Porch Campaigns, July 18-19, 2025, in Marion, Ohio.

Upon graduating from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ last fall with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion alumna and Mount Gilead, Ohio native Kaitlynn Pfeifer parlayed her degree into an opportunity to study invitro fertilization as a career through her recent admission to ARTLAB in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

First Gen Friday is a monthly first-person narrative written by first generation college students who are faculty, staff, and students at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion Professor of Psychology, Nikole Patson was recently awarded an Undergraduate Research Access Innovation Seed Grant in the amount $10,000 of by ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Office of Academic of Academic Enrichment Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry.
