Professional actor and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Artist Laureate Kevin McClatchy, in collaboration with ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion, will present a screening of the film Scrap Heap, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 6 - 8 p.m. at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion, Morrill Hall Auditorium, Room 100.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion students Coda Gharis and Brian Speckman enjoy studies on the regional campus while being members of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marching Band.

On December 4, 2025, a student team from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion put their engineering design skills to the test with engineering students from across the university to compete in the autumn semester College of Engineering’s Fundamentals of Engineering Design Showcase.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Advancement Donor Experience department presented ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion Community Relations Program Coordinator, Jodi Somerlot with the department’s Care and Compassion Award during the campus’s all staff meeting Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Maynard Hall’s Guthery Community Room.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion Office of Student Success Programming will hold a series of academic growth workshops during spring semester 2025 titled "Student Success Workshops successive Wednesdays in the Library Classroom Building Library Learning Center beginning January 15 through February 26, 2025.

Tuesday, January 14, 5:30 p.m. is the inaugural lecture featuring ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion Assistant Professor of Physics, Dr. Chris Orban who will present a lecture entitled, The Science Behind an Unforgettable Year in Backyard Astronomy. Dr. Orban will share his perspective on these events and explain how the sun’s 11-year cycle of magnetic activity made it especially memorable. 

First Gen Friday is a monthly first-person narrative written by other first generation college students who are faculty, staff, and students at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion.

Friends and family gathered in the gym on the campus of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ at Marion for a celebration. After a campaign that lasted two years and two months and raised $250,000, it officially became Greg Swepstson Gymnasium in the Alber Student Center.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and engineering are a big part of the Peters family of Marion, Ohio and synonymous with a father and son who followed similar paths through ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Marion to an ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ degree in engineering and successful career positions.
