After transferring to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion following his first year of college, Alex Cabungcal found the university’s new engineering technology program to be a perfect fit.
In May he became one of the first graduates to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Qudsia Tahmina and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion undergraduate Student Researcher, John Simonis, recently partnered with lead author and researcher ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ College of Medicine Research Scientist, John LaRocca to co-author research on a new type of dart launcher has been developed as a safer and more cost-effective alternative to firearms or air guns to inject animals with drugs or tracking chips.

Harding Symposium July 19-20, 2024.

Taking part in research as an undergraduate student is somewhat unique for smaller colleges and universities across the country. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion junior biology major Wesley Bush was recently named a Pelotonia Undergraduate Scholar by The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. The award is the seventh such honor since 2018 for ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ students working with ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion faculty research mentors.
