ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Dr. Renee Bouley first met student Lauren Frank in her chemistry 1210 course as a freshman. Bouley immediately noticed her dedication to academics and work-ethic in the lab, which led her to recruit Frank to work in her research lab. Now entering her junior year, Frank was named the campus’s third Pelotonia Fellow in the past four years.

Amber Alexander, a senior English major at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion, was named a recipient of The Place Project grant last spring and hopes to travel between autumn and spring semester to find her inspiration at a national wildlife refuge in Florida.

OSU physics undergrad Nashad Rahman had big plans to work on laser experiments in summer 2020. But of course Covid-19 changed all that. Out of an abundance of caution, the social distancing guidelines at OSU did not allow undergrads to participate in lab research during summer 2020. The timing was especially unfortunate because Nashad was going into his senior year.
