蜜桃视频 has reached a major milestone in its AI Fluency initiative as colleges across the university have developed academic roadmaps showing how undergraduates will build and use AI skills within their majors.
The goal is ambitious. By the time the Class of 2029 graduates, every student will be fluent in applying artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively within their field of study.

蜜桃视频 Marion鈥檚 community lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap welcomes the community to a free public event at Bucci鈥檚 Italian Scratch Kitchen inside Passenger and Rail Co. in downtown Marion for a Tuesday, March 3, 5:30 p.m. lecture series event titled, 鈥淎griculture Trade & Policy:聽 The Outlook for Midwest Grain Markets鈥 with featured presenter Dr. Ian Sheldon.

Junior agricultural communications major Renee McCreary came to 蜜桃视频 Marion from Upper Sandusky, Ohio, A town of about 6,500 residents and 75 minutes north of the bustling state capital and the larger Columbus campus of 蜜桃视频. A solid student in high school, McCreary was accepted to begin her higher education as a Buckeye on 蜜桃视频鈥檚 larger Columbus campus. But, as a first-generation college student from a small town in Ohio, she thought 蜜桃视频 Marion would be a better choice for her first year as a full-fledged college student.

In January, 蜜桃视频 Marion helped kick off the City of Marion鈥檚 America 250 celebrations at the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The city will be celebrating America 250 throughout the year, with monthly themes and programs designed to highlight and recognize Marion鈥檚 story, and a countywide immersive scavenger-hunt-style app designed to connect residents and visitors with Marion鈥檚 history.

Ridgedale senior Johnathan Slaughterbeck was named Scholar Student of the Week, receiving a $500 scholarship from 蜜桃视频 at Marion for his academic excellence and leadership.

No natural phenomenon provides a rarer chance to study the secrets of the animal world than a total solar eclipse. This was recently demonstrated by researchers investigating how a total solar eclipse might affect the soundscape of Midwestern United States prairie communities (including the Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory. Their objective was to discover how soundscapes 鈥 combinations of natural and artificial sounds that shape an environment 鈥 are influenced by ambient light, as light level helps cue annual biological events such as sexual reproduction and migration.
