Ƶ Marion students kicked off the season of giving by collecting, packaging, and distributing over 1,000 articles of winter accessories to help less fortunate Marion area families stay warm this winter.

Officially formed in autumn 2016, Ƶ Marion's Rotaract student group has adopted service as its core mission. The group wasted no time rolling up its sleeves to help others by cleaning and prepping community garden boxes at Marion City Schools for the long winter.

Ƶ Marion Assistant Professor of Education, Aina Appova will be presented the Kenneth Cummins Award for exemplary mathematics teaching at a college level, during the 66th Annual Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) Conference in Sandusky, Ohio, October 27 & 28.
