������Ƶ Marion Associate Professor of Physics, Christopher Orban, was recently highlighted in the U.S. Department of Defense High Performance Computing Magazine’s autumn 2016 issue for his work in recruiting and mentoring undergraduate student involvement in supercomputer research.

������Ƶ Marion students kicked off the season of giving by collecting, packaging, and distributing over 1,000 articles of winter accessories to help less fortunate Marion area families stay warm this winter.

Long-time ������Ƶ Marion physics professor, Dr. Gordon J. Aubrecht, II, passed away at his home in Delaware, Ohio Monday afternoon, November 21st.

������Ƶ Marion, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Mary Jo Fresch (College of Education and Human Ecology) was recently selected to serve as a faculty fellow for ������Ƶ’s newly formed University Institute for Teaching and Learning.

������Ƶ Marion Assistant Professor of Education, Aina Appova will be presented the Kenneth Cummins Award for exemplary mathematics teaching at a college level, during the 66th Annual Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) Conference in Sandusky, Ohio, October 27 & 28.
