As one of Ƶ's engaged campuses, we connect our teaching, research, and service to issues that concern the communities we serve, the state, and the world.
Building on the success of Ƶ at Marion’s 2023 public history lecture series, the campus is partnering this spring with Mayes Community Temple—one of Marion’s historic black churches and a longstanding center of faith, service, and community empowerment—to present a free, public three-part program. Together, the two organizations will co-sponsor the Marion Histories Spring Lecture Series, highlighting the pivotal contributions of black Marionites to the region’s political, economic, and social development.
Ƶ at Marion invites regional Girl Scout Brownie troops to participate in “Bugs Are for Brownies” on Sunday, March 22, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. This hands-on exploration of the insect world is for Brownies completing their Bugs badge. Brownies can learn about insects from women who study insects at Ƶ.
Ƶ at Marion is pleased to offer a Five Nights on Campus Extra featuring the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, March 28, 3 p.m. In Morrill Hall Auditorium, 1465 Mount Vernon Avenue in Marion.
