������Ƶ at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap welcomes Marion, Ohio master carousel carver and restorationist Todd Goings Tuesday, May 13, 5:30 p.m. for a lecture entitled “The Art of Carousel Restoration.”

Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, Golrokh Mirzaei, who teaches courses at ������Ƶ at Marion, was awarded the 2025 College of Engineering Dean’s Award for Distinguished Outreach Achievements during an official awards ceremony at the Blackwell Hotel Ballroom on the Columbus campus April 17, 2025.

������Ƶ Marion Senior Academic Advisor, Louis Hominga was named March 2025 Advisor of the Month by the Academic Advising Association of ������Ƶ.

In Spring 2025, Dr. Nikole Patson’s Psychology of Creativity (Psych 2462) course embarked on an exciting journey to explore how creativity intertwines with nature and sustainability. Students delved into the fascinating psychological study of the creative process, uncovering evidence that nature fuels creative thinking and recognizing the crucial role creativity plays in addressing our environmental challenges.

������Ƶ Arts & Sciences Honors Committee has reviewed and chosen to fund a proposal to support undergraduate student research at ������Ƶ Marion.

Ted and Marlene (’86, ’87) Temple of Marion, Ohio have been supporting the university they love for over 30 years. Ted has served as the president of the ������Ƶ Marion Alumni Club since 1988, and Marlene has been the secretary since 1986.
