Thanks to the hard work and dedication of a local community committee, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ at Marion is pleased to announce that the $250,000 fundraising goal has been met and the campus gymnasium in the Alber Student Center, will be named the Greg Swepston Gymnasium in honor of the beloved Marion resident, coach, mentor and former major league baseball scout.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Marion Assistant Professor of Reading Education, Julia Hagge and a team of researchers recently received a $59,000 research grant funded for the upcoming year by The Battelle Engineering, Technology and Human Affairs (BETHA) Endowment, for the research titled, Leveraging Technology to Accelerate Generation and Translation of Evidence-Based Practices in Education.
