Students, faculty, and staff joined the community on Thursday evening September 4th, marching through the center of Marion to kick off The Marion Popcorn Festival, the largest popcorn festival in the world. According to the festival鈥檚 website, the festival, which began in 1981 annually attracts crowds of more than 250,000 people.

Donna Bobbitt-Zeher was the first in her family to complete college. Now as an associate professor and Assistant Dean at the Marion campus of 蜜桃视频, every year Donna helps ensure that hundreds of students are successful in navigating college for the first time.

蜜桃视频 at Marion will host a unique food, wine, and beer pairing event called The Art of the Pair on Monday, October 6, 2025, 6-8:30 p.m. to support the operation of local repeater tower that strengthens the WOSU-FM radio signal to the people of Marion, Delaware, Wyandot, and Crawford Counties.

蜜桃视频 professors Dr. Ruben Petreaca and Dr. Renee Bouley were recently awarded a $157,500 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for their research grant proposal entitled, 鈥淭IP60-chromatin remodeling complex roles in chromosome break repair.鈥

Bailey and Lee will present a free community lecture entitled 鈥淭he Buzz on Beekeeping: Symbiosis & Sustainability,鈥 Tuesday, August 12, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci鈥檚 Italian Scratch Kitchen.
